Rizali Staff understands that a variety of characters and their personalities is a beneficial and enjoyable part of the Second Life experience. The search for variety leads to the creation of additional characters with the same Player. These are excellent for traveling to other scenes, sims, and spaces our other characters cannot.

 

Rizali Staff is looking to create a player base of all unique Players with a limited number of additional characters. Rizali Staff finds some of the best role play happens when people commit to a unique character and explore and enrich that character's story.

 

We have very specific expectations for Players who choose to come to Rizali to engage in role play regarding their characters as follows:

 

• We acknowledge Second Life’s terms of service.

 

• Players may bring no more than TWO Unique Characters to Rizali without specific Staff Approval.

• Players may only hold ONE Lead Role regardless of the number of Unique Characters. Disregarding this rule will lead to dismissal of the Rizali Sim. 

  • Lead Roles Include: Head of Noble House, Faction Leads, Kingdom Leads, and second in command of such groups.

  • Due to the nature of a Lead position it is imperative that story lines are able to function without an absent Character and we find that ONE Lead Role is enough.

  • This is an honor system regarding multiple unique characters. However applications for Lead positions are OOC.

 

• When a Player wishes to Reroll or Retire a Unique Character, it is important for the sake of storyline continuity that Staff are notified and given the opportunity to help craft an In Character reason with you as to why the Character is disappearing. Your Unique Character is important, Staff want to honor them as well. Much like traditional roleplay table top games the loss of a Unique Character or the appearance of a new Character is an exciting part of the plot for other Players.

 

• ​If a Player chooses to create multiple Unique Characters, they are expected to keep in character information separated from each story, to keep them Unique. Please be mindful and separate information.​

• Unique characters with the same Player can not engage together in a scene or in spaces with their other unique Character. (This limits Metagaming. Please refer to Sim Rules.)

• While there are several groups on sim filled with amazing players, it is preferred that if you do not play more than one Unique character within the same Faction/Houses. 

  • i.e If you have a Character in the Vampire Faction already, you should not create a Second Vampire Faction Character. However, you would be able to create a unique character for the Vampire Faction and one for the Guard Faction. Please keep in mind this is a way to spread the character base as intended for Unique Characters.

 

• Exceptions are made for Staff approved NPC Characters brought to Rizali specifically for story telling and lore purposes.

• All Unique Characters must adhere to the Sim Rules and Second Life’s terms of service.

As such we are open to case by case basis applications for a specialized race. Please note application does not mean approval and it is a more in depth process of negotiation and discussion.
